My name is Jason Lam. I’m a UX researcher living in Ann Arbor, MI. I’ve recently completed a dual Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction and Social Work at the University of Michigan.
My passion for design is rooted in creating engaging experiences that are delightful, scalable, and feasible. I approach problems by adopting a holistic view and trying to deliver research insights that align with product strategy. I excel within agile/lean teams where I can utilize data to iterate on designs. Although I often conduct mixed methods research, I'm particularly strong in interviewing and ethnography as I can leverage my background as a clinical social worker.
Previously, I've worked as a design researcher in China, Canada, and the US for healthcare and education companies.
